Its Over!!!

This will be my last week as a college student! Saturday was gradutaion and this week are finals. If feels good to pack up my room knowing i dont have to come back to school ever again. Leaving Vincennes and drivng back home will probally be the funnest drive i ever have! Most kids dont want to leave college and get a job and all that adult stuff, but im am so excited to finally get into the work force. Theres a pretty good chance of me getting a job on the town department back in my town, but im hopin i get to move along in the ISP process. But what ever i do i will be happy and pumped that im no longer student!!!!

The great outdoors!

There isnt nothing better than sitting in the great outdoors and relaxing. That is the best part i love about hunting. I could sit in the woods for hours and be intertained with things going on. I was trukey hunting the other day in my chair blind and a deer  come about to yards from me just staring at me. She knew i was there but she just quite couldnt tell. After she left i watched a hawk chasing after a squirrl in a tree. Ive truley never seen that before. It probally lasted for about 10 min. and then the squirrl got away. I love being in the woods and taking in mother nature.

New look

As my freinds know me, they will tell you that im obbessed with working on and doing stuff with cars. I always like to mess with them to make them faster for look better. So im always picking things apart to see what i could do to make it look better. I get bored very easily so i decided to give my truck a new look. I had a WoO sprint car theme with my truck. My two favorite drivers both now have the same sponser Big Game Treestands, so i though since i love to hunt i’ll make my truck to go along with there theme. So i bought some camo wind deflectors and the camo accent that you put on your trucks. It was a lil easyier than i thought it would be. So once it got put on i was happy with the end results.

Rebuild time

Right before summer was over i was driving my car and getting on it pretty hard. Well when i got home it wasnt running quit right. It had a sound like i never heard before. It started to get low oil pressure. So i changed the oil and split the filter open and found gold flaking. If you dont know much about cars thats bad to have gold in your oil. That was a sign of bearings being grind down. So i need to tear my motor down and change all the bearings before i can drive it again. And now that school is just about over and summer is here i will have some time to do that. Also the nice weather is making me want to get it back on the streets.

Commencement

Yesterday i did the gradutaion commencement. It was prob the longest and most boring thing i have ever done! lol I didnt really want to do it, but my family really wanted me to so i pretty much had to. The majority of my freinds didnt do it. Nor did a lot in my major. There were only about 10-15 who did commencement out of about 60. After it was done i was pretty gald i did it.

Graduation!

I am so pumped for school to be over. Saturday is gradutaion and then finals the week after that. I am so ready to be done with school and start a career finally! I thought about going another 2 years for homeland security but i dont think i could handle another 2 years of schooling. I hope i get picked for the academy for ISP but if that dosnt work out i beleive i will have a job at the department in my town. Im just excited to finally be done with school and start a life!

Turkey Season

Turkey season started wed. but i didnt get a chance to go out to the woods untill saturday. Not much happened for me on saturday but being rained one. Sunday was a little better for me. I had four jakes come in about 20 yards from me, but i wasnt going to shoot a jake. I’ll get about four more hunts before the season is over. So i should get my boss tom that im after.

Summer time!

Summer is almost here and im getting more excited! There is just so much more things to do during the summer than any other time of the year! I think the best part of summer is the relaxing nights. Going to the drive in with some freinds, playin sand volleyball at the park or just cruise differnt towns with the hot rods. I love going to other towns with my hotrods and just cruising around. Also i like to hit up differnt car shows and cruise ins. And summer time means a lot of racing. This year my buddy and i are competing in the USA modified series, alos i enjoy to hit up the dirt tracks and enjoy the sprint cars. Summer time is the best!

Interview

Yesterday i had my interview with the state police. So far ive passed the written exam and the physical test. Its a long process that the state does for the academy. The process started out with just over 5000 aplicants and not its down to around 800. During the interview you had to take a physiological test and then answer some questions while being filmed. I have never been so nervious in my life. But i feel like i did okay.

spring break

I am in serious need for a break. It will be nice to get away from school for a week and just relax. But now over break i will have to be studyin hard for my isp exam. Mostly over break i will mostly be working on my car. I will be tearing down the motor and put new pistons and such in it to get it ready for NOS. Im excited to get it back on the streets for the summer!
